We are always looking to hire qualified individuals to teach and
assist our program.
Below is a list of our current open employment opportunities:
Title: Kids Engineering and Construction Instructor (Bay
Area) - Part Time
Job Duties:
Teach AWESOMEngineering After-School Enrichment and Summer
Camp Curriculum to kids between 8-13 years old. You will be
teaching basic engineering, construction and physics. Each class
you will use Erector® Sets to construct a fun and educational project
that everyone will build.
We will provide you with the training and supplies necessary to
teach each class. You will need to store the AWESOMEngineering
supplies as well as transport them to and from each teaching
location.
You will need to be available during the afternoon on weekdays
between the hours of 2:00 – 5:30pm. The After-School Enrichment
classes are one hour and fifteen minutes in duration. However, you
will be paid for 3 hours to compensate for the setup, cleanup and
your travel time. We will be able to offer full time employment during
the summer to teach our camps.
Your teaching territory would include most of the cities in San Mateo
County region.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, teaching a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or current college student
- Mechanically inclined
- Flexible availability
- Responsible, reliable and punctual
- Love being around and interacting with children (also their
parents)
- Must be livescan fingerprinted (paid by us)
